From Grand Bassam to Assinie, the Bay of Paradise

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since June 29, 2012, the town of Grand-Bassam, 45 minutes from Abidjan, is the first capital of Côte d'Ivoire, and still jealously preserves the vestiges of its early days, which we'll visit at the start of the day.

After a morning rich in discoveries, we'll head for the seaside resort of Assinie for an afternoon of relaxation, with lunch on the beach of fine white sand, horseback riding, jet-skiing and/or quad biking, before returning to Abidjan. Assinie is a real postcard setting!

1- Grand Bassam, UNESCO World Heritage Site (Morning)

Between picturesque buildings and heroic stories you'll be plunged back into the memory of times to understand the foundations of our beautiful country.

You'll visit
- Colonial Lighthouse
- Glorious Ladies Monument
- Victory Bridge
- Centenary mango trees
- Treich Laplène stele
- Yellow Fever Monument
- Colonial buildings with their own stories - around ten of them.

2- Assinie, the Bay of Paradise (Afternoon)

Nestled in a golden setting, Assinie is Côte d'Ivoire's Eldorado. Here, luxury, farniente and voluptuousness are the order of the day.

Program:
